2022 Evaluation Peer Learning Cohort (EvalPLC)
About
Evaluating state workforce programs is a complex endeavor; many states may need help with building evaluation capacity to meet the requirements of section 116(e) of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
To support states in further developing workforce agency staff’s evaluation capacity, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA) established the Evaluation Peer Learning Cohort (EvalPLC) to provide direct technical assistance (TA) to six states annually.
During the 2022 EvalPLC, states continued to deal with the unique challenges brought on by the pandemic and the challenges it presented to workers, businesses, and the economy. The states’ priority remained one of supporting workers in meeting employment needs. The six state teams in the 2022 cohort are Colorado (CO), Missouri (MO), North Carolina (NC), Rhode Island (RI), Washington (WA), and West Virginia (WV).
