State Workforce Agencies can now apply for the 2024 Evaluation Peer Learning Cohort!

About

The Evaluation Peer Learning Cohort (EvalPLC) technical assistance (TA) application for 2024–2025 is now available. This TA is designed for new and seasoned state agency staff who want to build research and evaluation capacity across the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs with an emphasis on adult and youth activities.

Cohort members will collaborate in monthly online events, participate in team-specific coaching, and learn from evaluation experts and practitioners to gain knowledge as they build their state’s evaluation capacity. Both states new to the EvalPLC and states that participated in past EvalPLCs, and that want to further build on their evaluation capacity and practice are encouraged to apply.

State teams have until September 26, 2024, to submit an online application for this interactive technical assistance opportunity. Up to six state teams, comprised of the WIOA program lead and representatives from other WIOA core programs, will participate in the cohort activities. Each team will also develop a capstone project to support research and evaluation implementation at the state or local level.

You can access additional information on the EvalPLC page in the Evaluation and Research Hub and directly access the online application. Please contact EvalPLC@mathematica-mpr.com with questions about the EvalPLC opportunity.
